Senior Consultant Patrick Geschwind entered the consulting field after 25 plus years of dynamic leadership experiences, mostly with SBC, a Fortune 50 Company. Over the past eight years, he has consulted with approximately 50 firms in a variety of capacities. He has procured senior managers in both the profit and not-for-profit sectors. He has also recruited customer service representatives as well as IT professionals. In addition to search he has developed management training academies and delivered stand-up training. He has conducted investigations of alleged sexual harassment on behalf of three different employment attorneys and has testified as an expert witness. One of his specialties has been one-on-one consulting with small business entrepreneurs, assisting these owners in honing the skills necessary to get the most out of their employees. Retiring early as a Regional Vice President of Business Sales, Patrick achieved superior results by insisting on high standards from his associates, following strategies geared toward excellence, and developing creative solutions to attack old, entrenched problems. Pat has brought to his consulting practice an effective selection process that makes him a top-notch search executive. With his negotiating and leadership skills, he is excellent in mediating disputes between employees and bosses, management and labor and company and customers. With his participative management skills, he teaches empowerment principles to frustrated employees and their skeptical supervisors. With his leadership qualities, he has stepped in on short notice and assumed the role of an Interim Executive of a troubled organization. Work History: 1997- 1999 Regional Vice President-Business Sales. Managed a staff of 70 to provide sales support to 125 of the largest businesses in the KC/KS market with a revenue objective of 85M. 1989- 1997 Area Manager-Operator Services. Supervised 12 managers and 250 operators in the largest Operator Service Center in the Company. Achieved incidental and disability absence figures that were the best in the company. 1979- 1989 Area Manager-Human Resources. Trained over 500 employees in participative management techniques. Represented SBC on all Western Missouri EEOC charges of discrimination and assisted in the defense of discrimination related lawsuits. 1977- 1979 Area Manager-Human Resources, General Headquarters. Audited all Human Resources functions throughout the 5 state territory. 1974- 1977 Area Manager-Business Office Operations. Supervised two dozen business office personnel in two different rural locations. Acted as spokesperson for company with local media. Earned statewide honors in collections and public relations. 1973- 1974 Manager-Business Office Operations. Supervised 6 service representatives in a universal business office operation with responsibilities for sales, collections, productivity and service. St. James Elementary School, Liberty, MO 1972- 1973 Principal. Led an eight grade parochial school in the day to day administration of the educational process for 144 students, supervising 8 teachers and a secretary. Reported to the Parish Board of Education and assumed accountability for the budget.
